“Get rid of Entity Framework, it’s too slow!” Every developer who uses Entity Framework or another O/R mapper has probably heard this or similar statements from their database administrator or perhaps even from users. But is Entity Framework really slow? YES! – But only if you use it incorrectly. Unfortunately, most tutorials and even the official documentation are not very helpful in this regard and quickly lead us developers down the wrong path. In this session, we will therefore take a look at what makes Entity Framework slow and what we can do about it!
