Since the release of .NET MAUI in May 2022, Xamarin.Forms has been on the decline. Microsoft will only provide support for the MAUI predecessor until November 2024. It is therefore wise to address migration early.
In this talk, we will examine a practical example of what to consider when migrating from Xamarin.Forms to .NET MAUI. We will look at tools for automatic migration, discuss the steps for a manual migration, and address potential showstoppers during the transition. By the end of the talk, you will have a solid understanding of the steps to take during migration and the pitfalls to watch out for.
